Dear GCS'er: I found this awesome collection of artwork awhile back on my Macintosh LC, through America Online. Well, recently I was going through all my old files when I found this. Luckily all the pics where in JPEG format and could easily be read by my PC. I felt many of you could greatly benefit from this, so I sent this to Dan to be uploaded onto gcsgames.com. I've places each enemy picture in its own file so as to make editing easier and less confusing for you. You'll find that a few have a vga file or two in them. That is because some had a background color, which I removed in gcspaint. The unique palette of each was saved with them so as to keep their beauty. In the Headhunter Troll file, you will find six sound effects. They are from the Alien wavs at gcsgames.com. I included them because they fit the troll perfectly. I am in no way affiliated with the author of these images, so use them at your own risk. I would not think he would mind if they where used for a non-profit game, but if you plan to make money I strongly recommend you contact Scott Harper. Below is the original Read Me message by Scott Harper. I hope you enjoy! Killem All A Game Graphics Compendium By Scott Harper 6121 Lois Dr. Paradise, CA 95969 E-mail: Harper900@aol.com Killem All: is a source of original artwork for you to put into games that allow imported graphics. The graphics are in a higher resolution then what most game will import so you will have to resize them. I did this so you could have the freedom to make a monster any size you like, i.e., a dwarf in my game may have become a giant in yours. About the Graphics MONSTER'S ¥ The monsters you'll see are the kind found in (FRP) games that is they are medieval/fantasy type and each monster is shown in a front, side, back, pre attack, and attack view. These monsters look pretty good right now but what I hope they'll do is to inspire you to make your own, so use them as a starting point for your own creatures by giving them a new face, color, weapon etc.... WALL TILES ¥ The wall tiles will let you create a forest, forest fire, cave, and stone dungeon. I recommend that you have a paint program with a grid feature (BrushStrokes for the MAC or DPaint for the PC) this will make working with the tiles much easier. ITEMS' ¥ Swords, armor etc.... Killem All is divided into 3 separate files because of the long download time, I have given you a list of the graphics in each file below. But if you would like to see some of the art without a big download try Killem All Cover, It's a 24bit JPEG showing one view of sum of the monsters. Uploading KILLEM ALL is fine but PLEASE keep all art and this file together, with NO modifications. You may distribute KILLEM ALL in any electronic format (BBS, diskette, CD, etc) as long as there has been no modifications, and you include this file. Uploading one or all the monsters in a game, or wad file is what Killem All is for so let me know of any cool doom wads you have made. I would also like to find out what you think, so E-mail me any suggestions or comments you may have. This is shareware so if you like putting my monsters in your game, or you like seeing what kind of monsters you can make from them, send me your $5 and enjoy killing with a clear conscious. ¥ Killem 1, MONSTERS, Troll, Fungus Man, Headhunter troll, Dwarf guard, Dwarf mage, Parasite.
