Editor(s) used : Qme 3.13 and Quark 6 for models

                       Visual C++ 6.0 for engine customizations and qc edit

                       Friqcc for to compile progs.dat

                       Photoshop 6.0 and Irfanview 3.36 for graphics

                       
Known Bugs : Flames from Flamethrower go throught walls.

                     MuzzleFlash sometimes dont show himself in front at the Machinegun and Colt M4A1.

                     Slowdown in FPS when you use Flamethrower.

                     Flicker Sounds sometimes (I dont know if this only happen with my SoundBlaster XGamer)

Description of the Modification
-------------------------------
This is a weapons mod for TomazQuake Engine.

 

The new weapons are:

1_ Knife

2_ Handguns _ Dual Beretta 9mm for Easy skill

                       Beretta 9mm for Normal skill

                       Colt M4A1 Carbine for Hard skill

                       Machine gun for Nightmare skill

3_ Double-barrelled Shotgun

4_ Flamethrower

5_ Super Nailgun

6_ Grenade Launcher

7_ Rocket Launcher

8_ Railgun

 

All weapons have another attack with the secundary button (impulse 17):

1_ Knife _ shoot knifes

2_ Handguns _ Dual Beretta 9mm _ four side shots

                       Beretta 9mm _ two side shots

                       Colt M4A1 Carbine _ one single shot

                       Machine gun _ one single shot

3_ Double-barrelled Shotgun_ two rapid fires

4_ Flamethrower _ turn on and off the flashlight

5_ Super Nailgun_ Frag nailgun (like Q3)

6_ Grenade Launcher_ Prox mine

7_ Rocket Launcher_ Rocketjump 

8_ Railgun_ turn on and off the scope

 

The monsters has been modified a little:

Damage skins

Shambler now have a "Thunder" attack too

Spawns are more transparent

Hellknight has a "lightning" attack too

Crucified zombies now can be killed

Some animations has been "activated" in ogre and grunt models 

 

More modifications:

F6 (save), F9 (load) and F12 (screenshot) have a linked sound 

All weapons have "active animations" when you choose then

Quad, ring of shadows and ammo models has been replaced

Higher fov when you get ring of shadows

Gibbable corpses

Splat blood

New explosions effects

footsteps sounds

spikes from nailgun now sticks on the wall

there is no more blood when you shot a secret door

 

Modifications on the Engine:

colored flames (use this if you want to make a level for this mod):

                       light_torch_small_walltorch (yellow torch)

                       light_flame_large_yellow (yellow flame)

                       light_flame_small_yellow (green flame)

                       light_flame_small_white (blue flame)

magenta view in invisible mode

blue glow in shambler's lightning

red glow in hellknight's lightning

larger size for flame particles


How to Install the Modification
-------------------------------
Unzip the file in Quake dir and start tribal1.exe with "-game tribal" parameters.

Pull the console down and write impulse 9 to test the weapons or just play the game
